The following symbols and indicators are displayed in the upper left of the screen to indicate the instrument calibration status and type when in Cable & Antenna Analyzer mode.
iCal Status OK (RFP1)
The Site Master has been calibrated for an OSL or InstaCal Reflection (1-port) measurement with a Flex calibration indicating it is possible to change the frequency range after calibration.
Cal Status OK (RFP1)
The Site Master has been calibrated for an OSL or InstaCal Reflection (1-port) measurement with a Standard calibration indicating it is not possible to change the frequency range after calibration without performing another calibration.
Notes
Three calibration methods are supported by the instrument:
RFP1
Full 1-port Reflection (OSL or InstaCal)
TRES
Transmission (using External Sensor)
2PES
Combined Full 1-port Reflection (OSL or InstaCal) and Transmission (using External Sensor)
Standard or Flex calibration types can be performed with either the built-in InstaCal module or using external Anritsu OSL calibration components.
Cal Status --
The Site Master has not yet been calibrated. Perform a calibration before making measurements.
Cal Status OFF
The Site Master has been calibrated, but Cal Correction is Off. The calibration correction has been turned off by the user or by the recalled setup. Set the Cal Correction to On, or start a new calibration.
Cal Status OFF
The Site Master has been calibrated however the instrument temperature has drifted more than ±20 ºC since the last valid calibration was performed. A new calibration is required. For calibration procedures, refer to Calibration.
