A series of RF deck options have been presented in this chapter that are useful for a variety of applications where drive and receive signal levels must be manipulated. Power amplifier measurements (and for amplifiers in general) can often benefit from a number of these options to increase pre-DUT drive power and reduce levels into the receivers to avoid compression. Mixer LO power needs, high loss measurement scenarios (including on antenna ranges), modulated measurements and other uses can also benefit. In all of these cases when levels are being modified, additional flexibility in how power leveling is performed augments the other features.
