An Application Programming Interface (API) is available for drone detection, Tracking and the Anritsu’s Remote Spectrum Monitor (RSM). API's are presented both for control of Anritsu's RSM hardware product line (MS2710xA) as well as for the AeroShield API software API software. In order for these options to work, the RSM hardware must have these options enabled. Please see the AeroShield API software API software Product Brochure and User Guide for option information at https://www.anritsu.com/en-US.
AeroShield APIs
AeroShield provides two different APIs:
• AeroShield.API: The AeroShield API provides the programmer with a set of .NET user controls, a library of building blocks to develop a AeroShield API software application. These building blocks create the programs for geo-locating RF emitter signals. The .NET user controls can be placed directly on a Visual Studio Forms application, providing a feature rich user interface for drone tracking. Alternately, the user controls can be referenced in code, providing full functionality, but hiding the Anritsu UI.
• AeroShield TCP/IP: The AeroShield TCP/IP interface provides a limited set of functions into the standard AeroShield API. This interface provides a means for external programs running on a different PC, but on the same network to access and control an AeroShield .API Application. For more on the AeroShield TCP/IP see AeroShield TCP/IP API Software.
