PowerXpert™ Help : General Information : Instrument Description

Instrument Description
The Anritsu USB power sensors and the Power Master are highly accurate, standalone devices that interface with the PowerXpert application installed on a PC through a USB cable connection. The power sensors and Power Master can be used with many Anritsu handheld instruments, such as Spectrum Master, BTS Master, VNA Master, Cell Master, and Site Master. The power sensors and Power Masters are ideal for measuring the average power of CW or modulated RF waveforms such as 3G, 4G, OFDM, and multitone signals. They measure true-RMS power regardless of the type of input signal.
The Anritsu Power Sensors and Power Masters covered in this User Guide are listed in Table: USB Power Sensors and Power Master Power Analyzers.

Sensor Identification
All Anritsu power sensors and Power Masters are assigned a unique seven digit serial number, such as “1901012”. The serial number is printed on a label that is affixed to the unit. When ordering parts or corresponding with Anritsu Customer Service, please use the correct serial number with reference to the specific instrument's model number (for example, model MA24126A power sensor, serial number: 0701012). When attaching an asset tag, locate an unobtrusive area on the power sensor or Power Master to affix the asset tag.
