Once the start button is clicked, the HSPS channel window will begin to show activity as the channels are sequentially scanned.
If you have set limit values to distinguish pass/fail sweeps, then the channel power will be shown with a red bar when a channel fails a limit test as shown in
Figure: Table List with Failed Channel Power.
As channel power measurements are completed, results are written to a file. The output file and directory are shown in the status bar at the bottom of the window. This file will be in a sub-folder in the current users My Documents folder. The filename contains the date on which the scan started. Each time a scanning stops and is restarted, a new file is created. The output file is a simple CSV file that can be read by many other programs, such as spreadsheet application. See
