AeroShield™ MX280002A RF Drone Detection and Tracking Software : AeroShield Drone Detection and Tracking : Tracking Example : Start Monitoring Drone Signals

Start Monitoring Drone Signals
To start monitoring the mobile drone signal, click Monitor and Track. When using the Simulator program to initiate a simulated drone flight path, a black star position indicator steps through the yellow markers as shown in Figure: Simulator Program with Drone Tracking GUI. For more on the Simulator program, see AeroShield Simulator Control. The AeroShield screen shows the drone activity being tracked simultaneously.

Drone Flight Path:
The Simulator screen shows the flight activity of the simulated drone. The yellow marker with the star indicates the drone’s position within the simulator flight pattern. The drone tracking screen shows the corresponding drone tracking through the array of positioned RSMs on the map.
Blue RSMs:
The RSMs are blue when in Monitor Mode.
Red RSMs:
The RSMs are red when in Tracking Mode. There will be three RSM highlighted red when the drone flight is being tracked using the three RSMs.
Tracking Event List:
Each tracking event is logged from the start of initial tracking until the time the drone is out of RSM TDOA triangulation range and is no longer tracked.
Tracking Event Log:
Each time the signal is detected, it is logged in the tracking Event Log window.

Track Status:
Each RSM ping occurs at 6.76 seconds (in this example) and is logged in the tracking Event Log.
Sweep Count:
The number of sweeps during this tracking event is logged in real time.
Sweep Status:
Indicates sweeping or paused.
The Trace Window:
The RSM sweep band configuration is displayed in the trace window. In the image below, the trace window displays a bump in the RF that violates a mask, indicating potential drone activity.
