The PIM Master MW82119B User Guide is one of the set of manuals that cover all of the instrument’s functions and uses. The PIM Master with Site Master and 2-port LTE 700 MHz (option 703) options is capable of performing a wide variety of Passive Intermodulation (PIM) and Line Sweep measurements. This guide provides a quick‑start section with a brief overview of the available PIM, Line Sweep, and 2-port measurements. This guide also provides a summary of the hardware and software features of the PIM Master that are common to all measurement modes.

PIM is a measure of system linearity as compared to line sweeping, which is a measure of system impedance. Both tests are critical to validate a cellular system.
