When the Simulator program and the AeroShield program produce a tracked drone trace, the AeroShield program may lag the Simulator programs track speed. The track event may not yield good results. Adjusting the AeroShield tracking resolution can be done by:
Refer to RSM Probe List for more information on the tracking menu choices.
Increase Tracking Points
1. Original Created Tracks
2. Double Tracking Points Applied
3. Double Tracking Points Applied Again
There are trade-offs with any tracking adjustment method chosen. Too slow of a Step Interval may decrease the rate of the drone flight capture event if the drone is moving too fast. The smoothing method selected may also affect accuracy of the drone flight pattern capture event.
Averaging is a post capture process. It can be changed to see smoother tracks at the expense of fine detail. Turning (corners) in a flight path are especially rounded off with too much smoothing. More or less smoothing can be applied without losing any raw data.
