Open Data File
Open files and folders. For information on loading an IQ data file, see Loading an IQ Data File.
Load XML Parameter File
Xml files contain a complete list of the parameters to perform an analysis except the IQ data. The IQ metadata file provides center frequency, span, reference level, and capture bit-depth. These are non-adjustable parameters fixed by the capture. When a parameter file is opened, the MX280005A looks for a matching data file in the same folder. If it finds one, the user is prompted about loading it as well.
Save XML Parameter File
Saves a parameter file and the filename for the data file.
Load Configuration
Loading a configuration file restores an analysis session to the state in which it was saved. This includes loading the active I/Q data file, file paths and printing options. This provides testing repeatability including the reports that are generated. Three example files are included through this command. See Loading Example File.
Save Configuration
Save a configuration to a user defined file location.
Print Results
Opens the Print dialog.
Recent Files
Displays a list of the most recent files opened.
Exit
Closes the MX280005A software program screen.
Loading Example File
Three example files are copied to the users Document folder when downloading the MX280005A Vector Signal Analysis software. The examples are under a created sub-folder named: “MX280005A Example IQ”
1. Click the Load Configuration in the File Menu. (Opens to your Documents folder)
2. Double-click ‘MX280005A Example IQ’
3. Click on one of the 3 .cfg files. The first time you do this, you will not see any results.
4. Click Analyze from the Parameter Setup tab to demodulate. The example file modulation types will display on your screen.
